Terms of Service
Practical, plain-English terms covering quotes, deposits, deliverables, hosting and your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
Quotes
Quotes are written and confirm the scope, price, timeline, and any included revisions. Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
Deposits and payment
A 50% deposit is required before the build starts. This locks in your build slot and starts design direction work. The remaining balance is due before the site goes live or is handed over for transfer. Late payment may delay launch.
Client content responsibilities
You're responsible for providing accurate business details, copy, images, reviews, logos, and any other content needed for the build, by the dates agreed in the quote. Where you ask us to write copy, you're responsible for reviewing and approving the final version before launch.
Revisions
The number of included revision rounds is set in the written quote. Additional revisions outside that scope are billed at our standard rate after written approval from you.
Hosting and third-party tools
Hosting and any third-party tools (booking platforms, payment processors, email providers) are provided either by us as part of a plan, or arranged by you. Their terms apply in addition to ours where relevant.
Domain ownership
In most cases the domain should be registered in the client's business name. You always own the domain. Where we register it for you as a convenience, we transfer it to your control on request.
Launch approval and handover
You approve launch in writing. Once the site is live, ownership of the build is transferred to you on final payment, subject to any third-party platform terms.
Cancellation
You may cancel before launch in writing. Work already completed is billed up to the cancellation date. The 50% deposit covers design direction work and is non-refundable once that work has commenced.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount paid for the services in question. We are not responsible for losses caused by third-party platforms, hosting outages outside our control, or content supplied by you. Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude rights that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
